St. George Suite from “Le Mozart Noir” ballet (18 min)
A musical story in 7 continuous sections. Le Chevalier de St. George (born Joseph Boulogne) was a French composer, violinist, fencer and military commander of the 18th century. A famous person of his day, he was the son of a French nobleman plantation owner and his slave mistress. This contains the original music I wrote for a ballet on his life, commissioned by Ballet Dallas.
